Several years ago, my world changed.
My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
In the midst of her radiation treatment, an unexpected complication led to the introduction of a temporary colostomy bag.
Watching my once confident and vibrant mother navigate through this challenging chapter was profoundly heart wrenching. The toll on her mental health and self confidence was undeniable, as she grappled with the changes in her daily life.
